Whitening Options

Just recently our team tried a new whitening product. At first, I was excited. The whitener was easy to use and I seemed to see results rather quickly. A couple of months has gone by and now I have noticed my are teeth the same color as they were before I whitened.

Dr. Joe is keen on quality so I am glad we waited before offering that whitening option to our patients. Since my first whitening didn't work, I decided to try one of our other whitening options. Opalescence and Zoom! both have amazing reviews, convenient times, and outstanding results. I decided I would try Opalescence whitening.

The differences between Opalescence and Zoom! whitening products are:

  • Opalescence whitening can be done when I have time (usually while watching tv at night), while Zoom! is done at the office.

  • Opalescence whitening typically has less sensitivity during and after whitening than Zoom!

  • Opalescence whitening takes up to two weeks to complete, while Zoom! takes about an hour.

Both options are much more permanent than over the counter products and after the initial process usually only require random touch ups.

I started my process on Friday and already feel more confident about my smile.
